The Alarming Impact of Plastic Pollution on Marine Ecosystems: In our modern world, plastic products have become indispensable due to their durability and lightweight convenience. However, it is precisely these qualities that make plastic a menacing threat to marine life. Tragically, the grim consequences of plastic pollution are evident in the lifeless forms of marine creatures strewn upon our beaches.According to a comprehensive study by Plymouth University, the adverse effects of plastic pollution extend to roughly 700 distinct marine species. Among those most vulnerable to this scourge are Fish, Sea Turtles, Dolphins and Whales, Sea Lions and Seals, Jellyfish, and Sea Birds. These species bear the worst of plastic entering their habitats. Estimates also show that over 100 million marine animals are harmed by plastic pollution annually.
